The Karaburun Peninsula (Albanian: Gadishulli i Karaburunit) is a peninsula of the Mediterranean Sea located in Southern and Southeastern Europe, which is salmost completely surrounded by both the Adriatic Sea to the north and the Ionian Sea to the south. It is located in Southwestern Albania along the Albanian Ionian Sea Coast, whereas the Strait of Otranto separates it from Italy . The Strait of Mezokanal separates the peninsula from Sazan Island , while in the southeast stretches the Bay of Vlore .

Kemer is a seaside resort and district of Antalya province on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, 40 km (25 mi) west of the city of Antalya , on the Turkish Riviera .
Kemer is on the Gulf of Antalya, 53 km (33 mi) of sea coast with the skirts of the western Taurus Mountains behind. The coast has the typical Mediterranean hot, dry weather and warm sea. Until the early 1980s this was a quiet rural district but today the town of Kemer and coastal villages in the district play a very important part in tourism in Turkey.

Sazan (definite Albanian form: Sazani) is an island inside the Mediterranean Sea in southern Albania. It is the largest island in Albania and strategically located between the Strait of Otranto and the entrance to the Bay of Vlore, forming the border between theAdriatic and Ioniana Sea. The island has a surface area of 5.7 km2 (2.2 sq mi) with a length of 4.8 km (3.0 mi), width of 2 km (1.2 mi) and a coastline of about 15 km (9.3 mi).In addition to being the largest island in Albania, it is a military zone and sometimes in clear weather it is visible from the coast of Salento Italy in the west. The island was open to the public in July 2015.2,721.87 hectares (6,725.9 acres) of the territory of the island's surrounding marine area became part of the Karaburun-SazanMarine Park in 2010.
