Kruje and Durres

Arriving to Kruje

We will visit Skenderbe and ethnography museum  equipped with almost all original items from the late 19th century. Finally, we will walk through the famous Kruja Bazaar, full of traditional works and souvenirs.

Kruja has been centre of the Albanian residence against osmans under the command of Skenderbe .

He didn’t allowed the osmans to cross into Albania for 25 years .

Durres

**Start afternoon to durres . One of the oldest cities of Albania ** We visit some of the remains such as the amphitheater, the forum, the archaeological museum, the Venetian tower and the exterior walls.

The city was founded in 627 BC by the name Epidamnus by the Greeks from Korkyra (Corfu of today) and from Corinth. Greek and Roman authors have called the "City of Worship" because of temples, statues and other monuments.

** A refreshing drink or coffee in a panoramic bar before returning to Vlora.
