Tirana – Struge – Oher-St Naum – Tushemisht –Drilon- Pogradec – Tirane

Program

Day 1

Departure from Tirana at 06:00 .Short coffe stop and a little break at “Klubi I Gjuetareve”   and then we continue our journey towards Macedonia for Qafe Thane Customs. After crossing the border, we head for Struga and accommodate ourselves to the hotel. Free lunch in the restaurants on the edge of Lake Ohrid. After lunch and a short break, we can go and visit the town of Struga, the old bazaar and the joining of the Drin River with Ohrid Lake. Struga is a town located in the south-western part of the Republic of Macedonia with a population of about 15,000. The river flows through the town called Drim (Drini i Zi). Struga is known for its 3 types of beaches, such as Husband, Woman and Galeb. Struga is also known as the city of poetry, since in August each year is held the open-air meeting "Struga Poetry Evenings", where writers, poets and artists from all over the world participate. Return to the hotel where we can consume the darkness of to dance under the sound of music.

Day 2 :

After breakfast, the departure to Ohrid, otherwise known as the Jerusalem of the Balkans, which is on the list of UNESCO protected cities, is known as the "City of Pearls". Ohrid is located in the south-western part of the Republic of Macedonia near the lake of the same name and has some 50,000 inhabitants. During the visit of the city we will visit the port, the old bazaar known to all tourists for shopping and boat trips, then we will go to Samoil Castle and the old town where we will visit, the church of Shen Sofía, among the churches with the great medieval period, the ancient theater and the church of St. Jovan Kaneo, the Romanesque archaeological site at Pllooshnik (Plaošnik), the Icons Museum.

Free time for lunch and walking the lake edge. During the stopover stop at Shen Naum and Drilon.

Visit the Shen Naum Monastery. We head towards the Bucimas Village to the House where the movie "Lady of the City" was played with the famous actress Violeta Manush. Head to Tirana with a break as the group desires.
